#HumbleHarvest Day 11: This one explored themes of differences, empathy, and what happens if #kindness is not present in our interactions with each other. Posting a day early because traveling back to the Emirates in two hours‘ time.
This can be used in the classroom if there may be an ongoing conflict or even to talk about how not everyone is going to see something the same way and that is okay but when you come together to look at something in a different way- it may help the world grow and heal and remain colorful.
“The Rare, Tiny Flower“ was illustrated by Quim Torres and is drawn with a focus on the color choices and the aspect of dimension and point of view. It allows for students to see how when different people (colors) come together and work on agreeing on something it can make the world a beautiful and colorful place. And when the point of view zooms out it also suggest that thinking bigger than you is important as well.
