I started this book last night. I used to be in Simon & Schuster‘s influencer program and they sent me a physical ARC of this but I never read it so I‘m reading it now. So far, it has a lot of medical terminology and I don‘t really like that. I‘ll keep reading and see if the book gets better but I don‘t know if I‘m going to be able to get into it or not.
pickGood mystery. Set in Philadelphia in 1875. Good historical detail. Main character is a doctor and the dead woman was her patient. A lot of time is spent describing her work with patients, which doesn't directly relate to the mystery. There are numerous clinical but graphic descriptions of injuries, blood, autopsy, etc.

Today, I‘m sharing a book I received in the mail today from Simon & Schuster. I‘m looking forward to reading this. It sounds like the perfect Fall read.
