With every writing craft book I read, I seek to learn something new to help me w/my own creative process. Most of the time I'm disappointed. The subjects either over-simplified (too beginner) or overwhelming (too theoretical or too filled w/ musts & shoulds). Writing looks different for every writer. Long story short: this one is setting just the right tone for me & offering great insight into its subject! Highly recommended if you write fiction!

I should just reread this over and over until I've committed it to memory. Best advice and strategies for creating characters I've ever come across.
