This collection of short stories serves as an epilogue to the epically brilliant MIRACLEMAN series. It‘s been a while, so some details of the series are hazy, mitigating my level of enjoyment. This is the exact opposite of an ‘entry point‘ for new readers. Recommended to be read immediately after the main series, which is absolutely top tier superhero deconstruction storytelling.

A fascinating series of vignettes in a post-Miracle world that really shows off Buckingham's artistic versatility. The Prisoner-esque "Spy Story" and Andy Warhol-influenced "Botes from the Underground" are particular standouts.

charlesphoffman It's interesting how similar the themes of living in a miraculous world are to the non-comics book I'm making my way through, Rachel Pollack's Unquenchable Fire. Might need to explore the two together when I'm through with it...
