I didn't know this was part of a series when I picked it up at the library. Talk about twists that I didn't see coming. Aisling Cooley uploads here DNA one night to an ancestry site, and soon there's a detective knocking on her door. It seems her DNA is a close match to the Bonfire Killers. Either a father, brother or son. Only problem, she knows her son's wouldn't do something like that, she hasn't seen her father since she was a teenager ⬇️

Audiobook: The Mysterious Affair at Styles

I didn't know this was a series, but it sounds to good not to read. I'm just going to start with the last one in the series 😄

So good! I was a little lost at first since this was the 5th book in a series but I caught up quickly and this was a great, twisty thriller with a fascinating cast of characters. The DNA genealogy was clever, the setting interesting, and police procedural elements compelling. Released earlier this month. Now to go and read the 1st in Lodge‘s series! #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks #arc #netgalleygroup.

The Bonfire Killer was on the loose, and unknown to Aisling someone whose blood type matched blood at the newest murder scene belonged to a close relative of hers. It could be her father, brother, or son.
