pickI absolutely blew through this one. I loved the premise of the bet and all the things that came along with it, including lots of self discovery for both Lexie and Evan. Plenty of lol moments mixed in with some more serious ones.
so-soSpoiled heiress Lexi and downtrodden mechanic Evan switch places after a bet proposed by his niece goes viral. Neither is expected to last in the others world.
Overall the story was…meh. I couldn‘t connect to either of them and I longed for more depth. A lot felt surface level and great opportunities for more (Evan is the guardian of his niece, Lexi was abandoned my her mom) were sadly glossed over and given limited page time.
