pickI love time travel romance, and this book is no exception! Connie Scharon did a wonderful job describing the scenery, people, and history of the time period. I felt like I was truly there. John and Samantha's love was somewhat "insta-love", but it still rang true in the end.
There are some trigger warnings that should be noted about this book - there is a scene of rape and incest, and there are descriptions of other rape/incest.
