I wasn't sure if I would like this one, but the more I listend to the story, the more I was drawn in. In many ways I could relate to Suzu. The narrator is well chosen and fits the atmosphere. It's calm and deep and there's a lot to think about. Flasar has crafted her story well, going with the seasons. Seasons in nature and in life. She writes about how we handle death, how society sees young women and the rules that ties us all. A small gem.
Starting this one today! I‘ve read her two other books which were both 5 🌟 reads for me, so I‘m expecting a lot😅
