panWow, this one is horrifying. It basically is 40 pages of child abuse, including corporal punishment. There's only a couple “Chinese sayings“ (idiomatic expressions like “catching the moon in water“ for “futile effort“), the rest seems to be a semi-autobiographical account of Wang's Chinese childhood and it is AWFUL.
