Popped this off my TBR because of its December setting, and it was so dang hot this week. I was expecting a Groundhog Day/time loop trope comedy, but this was a drama. In fact it was almost a so-so read because a time-loop on the worst day of your life is depressing. But I actually loved how/why this book resolved and it gave credence to the dreary days - day.

I really loved this book. I knew I liked it, but the way the author wrapped up the ending made me love it even more. I think this one really spoke to me due to the losses I have suffered the past few years and the joy and gratitude I feel over the love I have found. Love your people with everything you have. None of us know when our time will be up.

I really enjoyed this Reese book club pick.❤️

We take life for granted. I myself tend to focus on issues instead of all the wonderful things we are blessed with on a daily basis. This was a wonderful book, well written, and I understand some can find certain parts repetitive, but that's the whole point in a time-loop novel. My only complaint is with the end, but I‘ll leave it there so there‘s no spoilers. Recommend reading & trying to self check to live in the moment.

Why is it that the reminder to slow down and enjoy what really matters to you in life never gets old? At times funny, at times poignant, this pulled at my heartstrings. Emma was a bit of a frustrating character and some parts felt repetitive with the time loop trope, but overall, this was a touching read (especially around the holidays) and a good prompt to remember that life is a precious gift. 🎧 #reesesbookclub

Emma, who it took me most of the book to warn up to, wakes up December 3 and proceeds to go about her overly busy day despite it being an important anniversary for her and her husband Dan. Dan dies that evening in a tragic accident but when Emma wakes up the next morning it's December 3 again but despite her doing things differently Dan still dies that night. What follows is a lot of lessons for Emma as she learns to reconnect with her husband, ⬇️
