My run of low rated reads continues 🙁

This looked like it would be nonstop terror but it actually became rather pedestrian very quickly. Yes, there is violence, death, gore, & countless scenes of our heroine getting a head injury - so many that I was surprised she didn't have permanent brain damage after - but I was expecting a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase. I think nearly everyone will see the twist coming from very early on. 1.5⭐

OutsmartYourShelf TW: animal abuse/death, violence, gore, murder, sexual assault, kidnapping, foul language.

Terrifying. Insane shock value! A little gruesome at times, but otherwise a great thriller! #catsoflitsy

Book #1 for 2018 - dark and disturbing describes this book best! It was also a page turner so I‘m going with a pick even though there were times I just had to stop reading (that‘s how disturbing it was). Recommended but not for everyone!
