I mostly loved this: Bethan's conscious positivity, Lachie's determination to be a good friend (to his own detriment) & his sense of humor (as evidenced by the thoughts he credits to his pets 😆), to the signs they used to get to know each other. I loved Bethan's coworkers at the garden center (except one 😠) I that the well- intentioned lies Lachlan told in his professional life had consequences. Loved how they resolved their miscommunication. ⬇️

I'm in Yorkshire where Bethan (who works at a garden center) and Lachlan are getting to know each other in an unusual way. And NYC where Iris is trying to help Gio save his family's gelateria while keeping some very big secrets from him. I'm bracing myself for the fallout.

This summer I‘ve read about ten books. This one was my favourite as I adored both main characters who each were dealing with their own personal issues. Together they were both stronger ❤️

Two lonely people begin writing messages on a window to one another. Lachlan is at home recovering from a serious accident and Bethan has moved into a new home with her young son. The messages to each other start off as playful but become more full of hope. They eventually meet in person and it doesn‘t go to plan.
I really liked that the story was told from two POV as you learn about the characters equally. Some great secondary characters too

Starting another book from my kindle. Only had it for two years 📕😂
