I was excited to read a mystery set in my home province; however, so far it is trying too hard to have Canadian references (and needs a better editor). It might be worth finishing just for the fun of the awkward similes, though.

First in the Constable Molly Smith mystery series. It was just okay. I found my mind drifting from time to time - many characters were introduced in the beginning, but some not reintroduced again until much later in the book. I'm also a tad put out with the treatment Molly receives from everyone in her life.
