panThis book didn't know what it was or what it wanted to focus on. Was it a paranormal romance? Was it a thriller? Was it a cosy mystery? Who knows!
There were a lot of tonal changes which made the book disjointed. It needed to be shorter and the plot tighter. There was a lot of unnecessary repetition which bogged everything down.

When Wes discovers him in his room, he allows Vincent to stay and feed but has some ulterior motives for helping him
