This book didn't know what it was or what it wanted to focus on. Was it a paranormal romance? Was it a thriller? Was it a cosy mystery? Who knows!

There were a lot of tonal changes which made the book disjointed. It needed to be shorter and the plot tighter. There was a lot of unnecessary repetition which bogged everything down.

This was a fun impulse read, mm paranormal slow burn romance. Set in a world where vampires are normal but treated as second class citizens, Vincent feeds on sleeping humans in order to survive. When Wes discovers him in his room, he allows Vincent to stay and feed but has some ulterior motives for helping him
