51% through. Legit 51% through the book and still much didn't happen. I have generally seen good reviews for this one and it was a weird feeling to read this much and still not like it. Mean girls but housewives edition, and still worse.

Reading on my Kindle and liking it so far. A suburban mystery.

This book was crazy.

DNF at 37%. I gave it 2 hours, the audio narration was annoying me, the narrative felt chaotic, and I didn‘t care about any of the characters or what was happening with them. 2024 is the year of not spending time on books that aren‘t working for me. ✌🏻

DocBrown Good for you! Two hours sounds like you gave it a fair shake. 13mo

Forgettable, though entertaining enough during the listen. Don‘t read if you don‘t enjoy unlikeable characters. 😆

Megabooks Just checked this out from the library. I‘ll dampen my expectations! 2y

Big book club picks constantly make me skeptical about how I‘m going to feel about them.. but I must say this was quite the pick for GMA (adultery, kinks, and all 😂), and i enjoyed it!

At first it seems like just another petty, the neighbors all hate each other, book, but she made it quite fun to read! 4.5 ⭐️

This was a great read! It was chock full of fans. Definitely a great guilty-pleasure read. Ciera, a mommy influencer is not what she appears to be to her followers. Lauren can see right through Ciera and they both want the other out of the neighborhood. One of them is about to get their wish. Lots of juicy drama, cheating, a fetish here and there, and a neighbor filled with mean girls. Lived it! Stayed up most of the night reading it 🌟🌟🌟🌟1/2

IndianBookworm Great review! Definitely stacked. 2y

This is next up on my TBR, excited to get started tonight while I unwind. I've heard good things and it seems like the drama-soaked thrillers that are my favorite guilty pleasure reads!!

Oh my God this book!!! There were so many times I was turning pages muttering under my breath things like "How dare she!" and "What a bitch!" It is simply one of the best thrillers I have read in a very long time and one I did not want to put down. I loved all the deceit! Disha Bose takes so many unlikeable characters and creates an absolute soap opera of a book.

mcctrish I want to read this RIGHT NOW 🤣🤣 2y

Wow, what a messed-up cast of characters! They all had a LOT of dirty laundry to air.
These are characters I wanted to hate, but Bose did a remarkable job of endowing each character with just enough vulnerability that I couldn‘t help feeling some sympathy toward each one.

The premise of this book piqued my interest — a story of three families living in Ireland. These couples have a tenuous relationship. The proverbial shite hits the fan when they learn that one of them is manipulating all of them. I enjoyed this book, but I don‘t think it quite hit the mark with what it was trying to achieve. It will be interesting to find out what others think once it is released. Stories like this always spark lively discussion.

People Behaving Badly should be the title of this novel! Three women, their husbands and kids interact as “friends” but who needs friends like these?? Sometimes funny, sometimes painful, it shows a cross-section of society and what people will do to get attention, get ahead, and get even! Worth reading!
