Big Problems, Little Problems
Big Problems, Little Problems | Ben Feller
2 posts | 1 read
Big Problems, Little Problems is the story of how a dad teaches his son to solve the daily challenges of life and, in turn, the surprising ways in which a child can teach a grown-up to remember what is important, too. We invite you into this charming picture book about a single dad (a rarity in the picture book world) and his little boy, who turns out to be very wise. From their secret handshake to their mutual problem-solving, this father and son have winning ways. Written with lessons that apply to any family with young children, the book is distinctively told from a father's perspective, and built on how a son and dad listen to and learn from each other. This is a tale of how to conquer frustration no matter what the problem.

Anyone else having Litsy and/or Library Thing Problems.

Lately I have problems everytime I am on, which is why I am not on. I use it mostly from my desktop when I am loading reviews. But even getting tags or comments has not been working correctly in months.

Just me? Oh and the system crashes anytime I try to add an image.

Jari-chan I've had some troubles too, but not anymore 🤔 8h
TheBookHippie Yesterday and off and on yes. 7h
mrp27 I use my iPad/iphone and occasionally over the past few months I have had problems tagging people but it rights itself out. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 6h

Bookwormjillk I was yesterday. Today has been okay. 6h
julesG Yes, off and on. Agree with @TheBookHippie, yesterday was a very off day. Crashing when adding pictures, can't tag people, takes ages to load or tells me my Internet connection failed (which was fine). The website version takes ages to load too. 5h
Librarybelle Periodically. I use the desktop to post book discussion questions, and sometimes it really lags. LibraryThing did work on it several weeks ago, and it improved for me, though it sometimes takes awhile to post on the desktop. I‘ve also seen lots of chatter about LibraryThing having issues. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 3h
LibrarianRyan @Librarybelle @julesG yep. The deal top makes it aside for me to load reviews so I hate that it‘s not maintained. And yes LT is having the same issues. I gave up trying early today and this is the first time I‘ve gotten the app to work either. 3h

4 ⭐ This story was sweet. It‘s a great vocabulary lesson without being preachy or repetitive. Sam and Dad are a pair. But things happen and Dad wants Sam to consider if it is a “big” problem, or a “little” problem and how to tell the difference. The art work in this story is unique. The illustrator does a great job of portraying emotion and action in a still work. This book just works and would be a great edition to any library.
