A fun memoir of Sona's experience being Conan O'Brien's assistant and then podcast cohost. It's a fun and engaging read.

For the first time ever, I managed to complete the #52bookclub2023 reading challenge
e-book: The World's Worst Assistant by Sona Movsesian
audiobook: Thornhedge by T. Kingfisher
non-fiction: Oh Crap! Potty Training by Jamie Glowacki

Pretty amusing & neat to hear inside scoops from Conan‘s life.
Just finished this audio - a fun memoir by Conan O‘Brien‘s long time assistant, and now features in his podcast, Sona Movsesian. I grabbed the print copy too for comics and photos 😊 And while this has nothing tying it to #scarathlon, I was happily surprised at a section called “murder” in which she talks about how she and Conan bonded over mutual interest in LA‘s famous murders. #teamslaughter +6pts
Yes, I am using my Armenian bookmark as I read this treasure. It‘s a delight. Every page.
As a fan of both Conan and Sona (especially on the podcast) I enjoyed this. It‘s very light, and it definitely feels padded in parts to add to its length, but I liked Sona‘s anecdotes and the glimpses into her and Conan‘s relationship.
