This is the 6th book in the DI Adam Fawley British police procedural series and I am still really enjoying them. This one features an elderly couple that claim to have killed an intruder, but of course nothing is that simple. The author has done a great job creating characters that have grown both in their careers and their personal lives. This book introduces a few new ones, while the others are starting to feel like old friends. 4.5/5 stars.

Yay back with another book in the series. The cases are interesting and the lives of the detectives are intriguing but don't steal from the main mystery. This was another good one. Its a real thrill ride of just who is guilty of what. The plot is steady and builds to a satisfying climax. I love all the characters in this and we gained some new ones who we've yet to learn a lot about. Another great read in the series. #Netgalley 5*
