I wanted to like this book, but I felt that the characters were two dimensional and the story wasn‘t very interesting. I did appreciate that the author didn‘t follow the typical 3rd act upset for the plot.
A baker and a bookstore owner are forced to share a workspace which leads to them realizing their feelings for each other.
1/5 read for a cute concept and if you want boring characters

Not sure how comfortable this chair would be.

julesG I'd imagine more comfortable than wearing a pair of heels all day. 2y

Finished an impulse romance read today. Mehhh. This honestly should have been a DNF but I was curious about Max‘s backstory. But both Max and Joelle kinda suck. Sorry 🙈 #loveathon #forcedproximity #workplaceromance

Pickpick

A little more descriptive then I care for in a romance but I love the arching storyline, sub-plots, and side characters. My stomach audibly growled a few times when reading the bakery scenes. The epilog was very swoony.
