Here‘s my #WeeklyForecast for the last week of #JumpStart2023. These will help to knock off a few more #ReadySetRead2023 prompts, as well as a few other challenges. Most excited for Go Hunt Me, and All The Dangerous Things.

I never used to pre-plan my reading, but I‘ve been doing weekly TBRs this month & it‘s been working really well for me. I‘ve been staying focused on my goals, and reading a ton. Going to try to keep up with it. 🧡

Cinfhen Woohoo 🙌🏻 Glad to hear #WeeklyForecast is working for you 😁 I recently listened to the tagged book and I found it delightful!! I didn‘t realize it was part of a series, though. 2y
Clwojick @Cinfhen Yes! The first one in the series is laugh-out-loud funny. The 2nd and third didn‘t hit the same, so I wasn‘t sure if I was going to carry on with the series, but I‘m glad I did. Listening to the 4th one now, and it‘s a hit! ❤️ (edited) 2y

Mehso-so

Fourth book in the series, seemed a bit less funny, less snarky than previous. It also deals with dementia and death a bit. I enjoyed the wrestler mom experience-my kid had a brief year in 7th grade wrestling. Totally commiserate on the teen boy smell funk and endless wrestling matches. Her daughters annoyed me this book. As always, the best part for me is that it takes place in Kansas City, where I‘m living, so all the places are familiar.

JudeCC 😂🤣 I immediately thought of Nirvana! 2y

So much fun to be hanging out with Jen Dixon again. If you‘re familiar with Laurie Gelman‘s Class Mom series then you know how great these books are. While this is book 4 - it can easily be read as a standalone. And while there are plenty of laughs, this story does touch upon some heavier themes like aging parents, dementia, family expectations, career challenges, middle age reinvention & relationships. #PublishesTomorrow
