This fast paced novel had many flawed but interesting characters. There was sex, adultery, theft, murder and multiple twists and turns. There were a couple of sweet nieces, con men, a sexy socialite and a law professor. Most of the action takes place in Chicago with a bit of traveling. Simon and Vicky seem like a normal married couple in a stale relationship. Be prepared to ask yourself again and again if you know what is happening. 4.25/5

This audiobook was so much fun! It…was…all…over…the…place!! The twists and turns were epic and it was really fun trying to guess where it was going and what each perspective was actually trying to tell you (I‘m pretty good at guessing and I couldn‘t keep up 🤣). Fast paced, exciting, and definitely entertaining. A 5🌟 thriller for sure!

This is the definition of a smart surprising thriller. I had whiplash from all the twists and turns. I exclaimed out loud several times. “No way”s “Omg”s and “Oooohhh”s. Deliciously devious. Intelligently written. I would highly recommend it. And now I‘m off to find more of his books.

One of the twistiest-turniest crime thrillers I‘ve ever read. Could not see what was coming next! This plot line took such a precise amount of finesse. Just when you think you have the story solved, you start finding yourself thinking “What?! HOW!” A very entertaining quick read.

This is one of the best books I‘ve read this year. I loved the plot and the multiple twists. Nothing is as it seems. A woman dies and the story has multiple viewpoints and timelines but it‘s never hard to follow and characters don‘t get confused. Loved it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I‘ve seen a lot of good reviews about this one recently, so fingers crossed it‘ll be as engrossing as my last listen.

I love complicated, complex people, being manipulated by POV all to enhance an exceptional plot! I‘ll definitely be reading more of this author.

This is what Riley Sager attempts to do but doesn‘t quite make it there. Hopefully that author will improve but for now I‘ll keep reading this guy.

Wow this was one entertaining, domestic thriller. As it opens we believe this will be a typical jealous lover murder mystery, but as the story and different viewpoints unravel the truth, there is way more to discover. I recommend going in knowing nothing! 5⭐️

This was a fun read! There are wheels within wheels here and the deeper you get the more you wonder just who is being conned. None of these people should be sympathetic characters and I feel kinda bad admitting that I wanted the culprit(s) to get away with it 😳 but I did.

This one had me from the beginning and held me the entire time. Great twists!

This book has my brain twisted like a pretzel! 🥨 I have no clue who did what or what did who! I'm loving every minute and I hope this keeps up because I'm only about a third of the way through and I'm on the edge of my seat!

So excited about my new hidden gem of a psychological thriller! This book comes with rave reviews and after reading the blurb I'm driving right in. Supposed to be a MUST READ book. I'll soon know if that's true and I'll report back.

If Twisty and Twisted met up and had a baby…this would be one of their kids.

This would be a smart kid, with maybe a few OCD tendencies. One who might try to mislead you but eventually, they would reveal their truths. Little by little, letting you in on their demented purpose along the way.

Overall, the only thing you really need to know about this book is, that it was rather brilliant, and it gets more so as you brew on its intricacies.

Revenge can be sweet I suppose. If you wait long enough. But then who's revenge? Who was seeking revenge? Things are not at all as they seem in this book. There are so many surprises that you won't know if it's happening or not. You may think you have it all figured out... You do not!
