I was interested in the premise: a young woman raised in a conservative West Texas town (that values faith, football, and family above all else) grapples with how to come out without losing the community she loves. I thought the book was good (though infuriating at times), but found myself let down by the ending.
Works for the #booked2022 #comingoutstory prompt, AND my #rolldecember list!
