Audiobook pick: This is my second book from this author and I'm officially a fan. He is just really funny. The good thing about being late to the party in an author's popularity, is he has a lot of books out there. His books seem like they would translate well to movies and they are full of action and snarky/absurd humor.

KathyWheeler I always liked his essays. My favorite was years ago when he did a ā€bad songā€¯ survey, asking people to tell him what they thought were the worst songs ever. He turned that into a really short book:

After enjoying ā€Swamp Storyā€¯ so much, I knew I wanted to try more of Dave Barry‘s work. It‘s wonderful to read books that make you really think and feel, but it‘s equally a gift to read a book that makes you laugh! This didn‘t quite capture the same magic for me as my first read of his, but the Floridian Hangover-esque story was definitely fun and entertaining!
