so-soThis shit is Heavy. Didn't realize just how brutal it would be when I started it as an audiobook with my sister on a roadtrip. Fascinating account of benzo addiction and thoroughly educational. But real brutal stuff. Her whole life just crumbles over the course of the book, but she writes about it beautifully. Not sure I loved the audio but prob just me.
pickIm not sure how I got to finding this book but WOW! This was a stunningly beautiful account of a young mother falling into an unseen drug addiction due to insomnia, anxiety and depression after having 2 children within 18 months of each other. There are some really difficult moments so if you‘re struggling with any of the above tread lightly. Five stars and audio read by author is perfect.
