Book 86/100 of the year.
Pretty good cozy mystery. A recently divorced, famous, best-selling thriller author takes her 14 year old daughter to a rural cabin near small town, and of course encounter a dead body upon arrival.

Yet again reading too many books at once, but they‘re all so good I can‘t wait to read all of them😅
It‘s been a long day and I just got to opening my #jolabokaflod package from @TheBookDream Thank you so very much for the lovely books and delicious chocolate! I‘m about to pour a glass of wine and settle down with one of the books. Thank you @MaleficentBookDragon for managing the swap!
Guessed the murderer by pg. 62 but still invested to find out the why! Love the characters here so far ❤️
My mans, Cat (or Cheech) with my current read #catsoflitsy (this is @CatGusMax pet!) 🥰
My day in a single shot
I thought this was going to be a cookie-cutter, predictable cozy. And while some of it was, I was pleasantly surprised that much of it felt fresh & new. This is a series I'll keep up with - perfect escape reading.
Buried in a Good Book will keep readers on their toes while tickling their funny bones.

I wanted to love this book so much, but I just couldn‘t get over Tess and her too wild imagination. The book started off great and while I enjoyed the story overall, I‘d like to see Tess‘s overactive imagination and smug I know everything attitude lessen a bit. The mystery was great and the cast of characters also good and I‘ll definitely read book 2 to see if things have calmed down a bit.
