The Immortal of World's End | 
so-so(1976) Fourth (or third, depending on whether you count "Giant of Worlds End" and why wouldn't you?) in Carter's dying-Earth series, "The Gondwane Epic"). In this one our adventurers deal with an invading force of barbarians. This one didn't work for me. It wanders a lot, solves problems with dei ex machinae, and is unserious without being funny.
