pickI finished this book midweek but didn't have the brain power to say anything about it. As with any kind of collection, there were hits and misses - but enough hits that I downloaded another Miéville story collection, Three Moments of Explosion, immediately (and October). Favorite stories include: Foundation, which starts with a Clive Barker feel and was inspired by horrifying fact; Familiar, which masterfully combines wonder and the grotesque. 👇
