I did not like this - I was expecting a fun little pandemic lockdown mystery and instead got a stilted third person narrated story of a man who had never taken accountability for anything, ever.
The last chapter, which isn‘t from his point of view - almost redeems it - but yeah, this one wasn‘t the pandemic story for me.
Is death perfect? Will it be perfect for me? The thoughts and observations of the main character Ridley, a lonely old man during the Pandemic who follows a real or imagined love during the final hours of his life. Well written and an interesting and poetic take on death.
A clever and topical story which takes on an adventurous feel with the mysterious light signaling from a window, strange silhouettes and voices in the dark. I found it compelling and enjoyed the entire tale, particularly the ending. David Duchovny‘s smooth narration was also magnificent.
