The author of the "absolutely sparkling debut" (Entertainment Weekly) Shipped returns with a fresh romantic comedy following a law student who wakes up from a car accident with memories of a boyfriend she's never met, only to run into him in a flower shop a year later. Perfect for fans of Christina Lauren and Rebecca Serle. What would you do if your dream man turned out to be real? When law student Cass Walker wakes up after surviving a car accident, she is flooded with memories of her boyfriend, Devin. The only problem? Devin doesn't exist. But everything she remembers about him feels so real, like the precise shade of his coffee-brown eyes; the texture of his favorite hand-me-down scarf; even the slightly crooked angle of his pinkie, broken after falling off a trampoline in third grade. She knows he's a figment of her imagination--friends, family, and doctors confirm it--but she still can't seem to get him out of her head. So when she runs into the real Devin a year later in a Cleveland flower shop, she's completely shocked. Even more surprising is that Devin actually believes her story, and soon they embark on a real-life romance. With her dream man by her side and an upcoming summer job at a prestigious law firm, Cass's future seems perfect. But fate might have other plans... From the beloved author of Shipped comes a magical and witty romantic comedy that explores what happens when our dreams come true--even when they're not the ones we expect.

This was a very sweet romance story with the cool setting of a family-owned flower shop. Nothing earth shattering but definitely what I hoped it would be from the cover: a cute, light read. 💗

Fitz, who has been my reading buddy for several hours, is taking his cue from the title and dreaming on!

Can you imagine if librarians had to fact check everything on the internet?

I read this in one sitting because it was THAT captivating. Loved it just as much as Shipped! I predicted one of the twists but still found it super exciting! The characters were believable and lovable. Highly recommend! I will read anything Hockman writes :)

💜 cute! I thought something sneaky was happening and was surprised to realize the truth. Team Perry since day one and I wish we got to see more of that side than the other storylines that ended up not being as significant. Also, the epilogue randomly spiced it up, which seemed rushed/random because it was so last minute

BennettBookworm Yeah absolutely agree!! 2y
themonaisa @BennettBookworm Hi! Right? It was overall a cute story and easy read! What did you think? 2y
BennettBookworm Definitely- I really enjoyed it but that last page felt so abrupt haha. A little unnecessary at that point. Like I enjoy steamy scenes, but maybe better to have it earlier in the story rather than like, “Oh it‘s almost the end, we forgot to include something spicy..” 2y
themonaisa Hahaha yes, exactly!!! 😂😂 kind of to check a box rather than trying to integrate it into the storyv (edited) 2y

I was drawn in from the get go. Would have been a perfect clean closed door romance (harder and harder to find) except the epilog got explicit and it almost felt unnecessarily forced. Loved the sub characters even the ones that you can decide if you love or hate, they all feel really human instead of one dimensional.

LiteraryinPA I know you read this a looong time ago, but I just finished this one and I totally agree with you about the oddly explicit epilogue. Like… why, after the rest of the book wasn‘t like that? But overall a good read! 14mo

What a cute cute cute story! Slow burn to the real romance, temporary stop with Mr. Wrong, battling coworkers turned friends, and just the right amount of mixup that gets fixed pretty quickly because both protagonists are smart adults. I would love to see this turned into a film!
