For #TuesdayTunes , I‘d like to highlight one of my current reads, which is a follow up to Burton-Hill‘s amazing Year of Wonder. Burton-Hill focuses on a classical music piece each day of the year…you can find playlists of each month on Spotify. In this volume, she has so far showcased quite a number of contemporary classical composers, which has been so fun to listen to and just shows classical music has not gone away.
Librarybelle Not book related, but I‘m binging Only Murders in the Building on Hulu and am on Season 3. I cannot get Steve Martin‘s “Which of the Pickwick Triplets Did It” out of my head… https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Piv19tK4lH4 9mo

jlhammar We just listened to our piece for today! I might be enjoying Another Year of Wonder even more than the first. And love Only Murders! Definitely a song that sticks with you 😆 9mo
Librarybelle @jlhammar I‘m just about to listen to today‘s piece! And yes…so sad I have just two more episodes of OMITB. They need to film and drop Season 4 asap! 9mo
Deblovestoread I‘m doing the first book this year and am loving it. Love Only Murders, too. 9mo
Librarybelle @Deblovestoread These books are wonderful! Only Murders is hilarious! 9mo
TieDyeDude So cool! I don't usually put much effort into learning about contemporary composers, but when the mood hits, I can go deep. I love the idea of this book. I wish I had a job where I could listen to music... 9mo
Librarybelle @TieDyeDude It‘s a nice bite size look at composers, both from today and of course Beethoven and Mozart. I like listening at the end of the day…a perfect way to wind down the day. 9mo
