Really enjoying the “A Never After” series. Book 2 complete and ready to dive in to number three. Loved the Hamlet references used in this book…and the ending!

"Scarred" is a slow burn dark romance, which is a twist of "The Lion King" or "Hamlet". The main character & morally grey man is (you guessed it).... SCAR.
Now, Scar is my all time favourite villain. He is witty, sassy & pure evil. Tristan was ? but the book just missed something. I loved the Lion King references, but I found Sara bland. Her POV was tedious.

Finished up today.

Haul number three library

Currently reading this. Started on audio going to read the physical book.

Another dose of smut, but not as hearty a dose as Hooked. The story was fair, the lead characters were solid…the main man, Tristian, has a Loki vibe, which I was not mad at. The best part of this book is what goes down in the sheets, not the streets! Read the 300+ book in about 7 hours, so it‘s a fast read! Hooked was a bit better, in my opinion, as is Twisted, but I liked this book. Just know it‘s more like Playboy than it is Hemingway or Joyce.

I'm gonna have a hard time reading anything BUT this series, it's got me in a complete chokehold. The villain spin on fairy tales and the total 🔥🔥🔥 chemistry between the MCs is TOO GOOD. And the Lion King vibes?? I die. 🦁
