#1 INTERNATIONAL BEST SELLER Detective Joona Linna is on the trail of a kidnapper who targets teenage girls and makes their worst nightmares a reality. "Dark, disturbing, and chillingly relentless. Picture Hannibal Lecter sitting down to channel Stieg Larsson and then dial it way, way up!" Brad Thor, #1 New York Times best-selling author of Black Ice Sixteen-year-old Jenny Lind is kidnapped in broad daylight on her way home from school and thrown into the back of a truck. Shes taken to a dilapidated house, where she and other girls face horrors far beyond their worst nightmares. Though theyre desperate to escape, their captor foils everyone of their attempts. Five years later, Jennys body is found hanging in a playground, strung up with a winch on a rainy night. As the police are scrambling to find a lead in the scant evidence, Detective Joona Linna recognizes an eerie connection between Jennys murder and a death declared a suicide years before. And when another teenage girl goes missing, it becomes clear to Joona that theyre dealing with a serial killerand his murderous rampage may have just begun.

I love Lars Kepler, but I always forget how much until I read a new Kepler novel. Like his others, this one is head and shoulders above many of the other Thrillers out there ATM. The characters are well developed, the descriptions are purposefully thorough (it never feels like unnecessary "filler"), and the story is woven together gradually and intricately. The Mirror Man had me audibly gasping at times.

Just finished this book & I'm BLOWN away! 📚✨

This Joona Linna thriller starts with the chilling disappearance of Jenny Lind, whose body is found years later, pulling him into a dark, twisted mystery. Kepler's writing hooked me from the start, with perfect pacing & cliffhangers. The high tension & well-developed characters add depth, exploring themes of trauma & survival. Its a must-read for psychological thriller fans.
I highly recommend it!💫📖

This one was a bit slow at first, but no less brutal than the other books in the series. But towards the end… holy crap, I didn‘t want to put it down! Joona‘s his typical badass self, I miss Saga, and the killer is just vicious. Left with a bit of a hint for the next book. Can‘t wait!

I‘ve been a bit MIA. School work has taken over my life, but that was to be expected. This book is…okay, so far. It‘s very slow, and I‘m not turning that pages as fast as I did with the previous books. Yet I‘m curious as to what‘s going to happen. I‘ve made it this far so I‘m going to keep going. #joonaisabadass

Ahhhhhhhhhh!
I love this series so much. One of the best Nordic crime fiction series out there. It is dark, gritty, and full of action. I think this is my favorite one in the series so far, but they are all amazing. Definitely recommend checking these out!

OMG, what did I just read? I knew it wouldn‘t be an easy read, but... horror, brutal, nasty, good read. Can‘t say much because I don‘t want to give anything away. The very ending will also haunt me until the next books comes out. Can‘t believe it! #JoonaLinna #NordicNoir #TheMirrorMan 🥶😱👹🧟‍♂️🧛🏾‍♂️
