Visions: The Secret Watchers | 
pickI have been reading the five books in The Secret Watchers series per my sons request. I like the teens- although they are, of course, very mature. It has been slower to read than anticipated. The writer has a style I can't quite describe- not good or bad, perhaps methodical. I would recommend it for young teens who like action, adventure and fantasy with their realism. There are some scenes of significant violence and sexuality.
Welcome to the world of Owen and The Secret Watchers. Owen is given glimpses of horrible things that have happened and is driven to fix them. Homework and chores are bad enough when you‘re in 8th grade but now this? It's a race to see if he can master his special ability before the dark watchers destroy him or turn him to the side of evil and chaos.
