OMG! The District Attorney in this book is super creepy. This story takes place in a small town in Alabama where people don‘t particularly “cotton” to Yankees (especially New Yorkers). Eddie‘s friend and former judge Harry, a black man, really isn‘t welcome. Eddie and his team go to great lengths to help their client who‘s been set up as the murderer. A great storyline. #SeriesLove2024 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

“Ambitious DA Randal Korn lives to watch prisoners executed, even if they‘re not guilty. An innocent man, Andy Dubois, faces the death penalty for the murder of young girl. Korn has already fixed things to make sure he wins a fast conviction. The one thing Korn didn't count on was Eddie Flynn. Slick, street smart and cunning, the former con artist turned lawyer has 7 days to save an innocent man against a corrupt system and find the real killer.”

Steve Cavanagh is a damn fine crime fiction writer! This one brings Eddie and crew to a small town in Alabama where a prosecutor gets his thrills by executing as many people as he can, truly guilty or not doesn't matter. After the original defense attorney mysteriously goes missing, Eddie steps in to defend a young black man accused of murder. If you're ever jonesing for Connelly's Mickey Haller, I highly recommend the Eddie Flynn books!

Cazxxx I love this series! 2y
