When I found out that one of our new library page's cosplays Robin from Stranger Things I knew I just HAD to have her come in dressed up to help me promote all the Stranger Things books, graphic novels, etc we have! Can you tell I was a little bit excited?! 🤣😂

I am currently obsessed with Stranger Things! 😱❤️ Of course I had to grab these books featuring my two fave characters! 💕 I've read the earlier two books (featuring Hopper and Dr Brenner) but didn't really care for them. I have much higher hopes for these! 😁 I'm especially excited for the Robin book because it's written by A.R. Capetta, a YA author I love!

I don't generally care for coming of age stories, but this one, maybe because I already loved the character of Robin, was terrific. I love how she became unapologetically the person she was meant to be. There were quite a few mentions of the main characters from the show, but mostly it was Robin's story. And it was a good one.

Went to check the mail, and the book was on my porch. Yay! I'm going to try to hold off starting it til October for the #scarathlon.

I read about Eleven's mom, Hopper & Max so of course I need to read about Robin now. Just something to fill the void until the show comes back.
