pickThird book in the series and you do have to read in order. Fun quick read, with some funny parts. Sometimes the protagonist‘s judgmental snark in the first two books got on my nerves, but I liked the emphasis on family in this one. My favorite part is that it takes place in Kansas City, where I live, so the places mentioned are familiar. We do NOT say “ya” nor would any Kansas Citian ever say that a Memphis bbq restaurant was the best ever.
pickLighthearted and entertaining just like the previous two books in this series Yoga Pant Nation was a Perfect Escape.

Very funny. The original “Class Mom” was my fav, but this is almost as good.
(And, yeah, I‘m sitting here reading while wearing yoga pants😂)
Btw…if anyone figures out the frequent use of ‘ya‘ in this book, let me know. Everyone I know from the Midwest says “yeah,” not “ya.”
So glad my library hold was available today. This is a perfect read for a rainy day. I‘m loving it!
pick#bookclub Enjoyed this one to my great relief. I haven‘t been having the best of times with my club's choices so far. A couple of maybe minor quibbles: I didn‘t understand the use of “Ya” in the dialogue, and was not impressed with the flippant mention of a child murder case that, to me, is very sad and shouldn‘t be a joke. Also, I hate wearing yoga pants! 1/2 ⬇️
