The book is more character study than plot. It's not a quick read and to fully understand the story takes quite a bit of focus. There's a good many characters that Sera encounters throughout the book and I struggled sometimes to remember who was who. Some parts dragged a bit, but that could have been my mindset while reading and not the actual book. Overall, good read! Also, can we talk about that cover?! Beautiful!!

Thank you, Goodreads, for this ARC. I found parts of this book to be entertaining. That being said, I felt many parts were drawn out and didn‘t really go anywhere. In my opinion, this story was too “every day life”. Who knows, maybe that was the point? It was one of those books that I couldn‘t wait to end so I could move on to the next.
