Thank you so much Megan @TheKidUpstairs for this lovely package that was here when we got back from our camping trip today.
I‘m so excited to have some #canadalit to read and, judging by the reviews on here, it sounds like a great collection! ❤️

Thank you @StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego for the amazing gifts!! I love everything: the bath bomb, Dutch waffle cookies, THREE books!, washi tape and chocolates! I am so spoiled! Cute card and wrapping paper, too! Love, love, love! #bestof2021swap Thank you @candority for organizing an amazing swap!
I absolutely loved this collection of short stories. 💙💛 #lmpbc @TheKidUpstairs @DinoMom @Tianarose
Dark humour and careful crafting elevate this lively collection of short stories to above average. The title story, about a group of young women painting glow-in-the-dark dials, surprised me by veering off from what I expected based on history. My favourite is “White Cake” because the characterization is done entirely through a distinctive first person voice and the plotting is superb. #CanadianAuthor #shadowgiller2021
Thanks @TheKidUpstairs your #LMPBC pick arrived today. I am looking forward to reading it.
Hopefully @StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego yours made it to you okay. Let me know if you haven‘t gotten it yet.

I generally avoid short story collections, they usually fail to keep my interest, but I loved this one. It's only the second time a short story collection has engaged and captivated me in this way. Engaging, unsettling, thought provoking.
I won't say much more because it's my #LMPBC selection, on its way to @DinoMom this week! @StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego @Tianarose
This was also my #DoubleSpin this month 🎉 @TheAromaofBooks
4🌟 I loved this clever, funny, twisted #canlit story collection! Papamarko prose radiate with crafted precision as do her characters. It opens with two very different conjoined twin sisters to a girl that cruises funeral homes, a pregnant teen who prays for cramps, an MFA student mourning the deaths of her parents, and more! Some darkly disturbed, others disturbed by the circumstances they find themselves in, all with such depth and desire.
