No, just no. I read another Sarah Adams book & it was cute, so I thought I‘d give this one a try. The synopsis sounded fun. The reality was cringy. The MC is 29 & a single mom. Her son is only 4, so that means she was 25 when she had him. And yet, she seems more like 18, & at times, she seemed like she was 14. This wasn‘t helped by the narrator, who sounded like at oldest she was 18, but really sounded like she was 14—whiney and annoying.

I loved this book, it's another romantic comedy. I related to the protagonist, from the frumpy swimsuit to the unshaven 🪒 legs 🦵. Meh, it happens 🤷🏽♀️
This was a cute audio about a single mom moving back to her hometown to be close to her family with her 4 year old son. She meets her brother's best friend and sparks fly. But her brother does not want those two together. This was a funny and quick story.

Started out loving this story about a woman who moves in with her brother and falls for his best friend, but it started getting a little dull for me about 50% through. It was too much of an instant love-at-first-sight connection, which made the dragging out of the romance so unnecessary and irritating at times. I was getting tired of the “does he feel the same way/no he can‘t possibly because he‘s too out of my league” line over and over
I listened to this one today at work, a quick easy funny lovey book and was well narrated and put my crazy brain in awe mode. I‘ll be very happy when Hoopla gets book 2!
