Fun graphic novel. Every time I see a donut machine, I think of Homer Price. This book will leave you hungry like a squirrel.

For 4-8 year olds. This is silly, funny, and entertaining for littles. The speech bubbles have minimal words and the longer words are split like part-part-whole. EX: pan-cake. It is a great book to learn new words.

Norma and Belly are searching out a donut instead of yucky nuts. The donut store they find is ran by a cranky old man. So their only option is to steal the donut!

This would be a very easy read for students and could be used over many different ages. It had a lighthearted plot with fun adventures. It could be a good introduction to graphic novels.

2020. A group of squirrels go on a mission to steal donuts from the donut truck. They devise a plan and have quite the adventure getting a hold of the donuts. This book does not have a lot of text, but the illustrations do a wonderful job of telling the story. Without words you are still able to understand what is going on. I love the use of onomatopoeia throughout to show different sounds and actions.
