pickI understand that this is Ms. Williams's first attempt at psychological suspense and I must say that she does an excellent job. I was fully engaged as I watched Ivy plot out and execute her quest for revenge against the woman who ruined her life. I totally did not see the twist coming and trust me, it's a doozy! I am looking forward to more of her suspense work. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
pickI wasn‘t sure what to expect from this summery thriller but in the end, I liked it! Main narrator, Ivy, learns the name of the woman who she blames for ruining her life & begins to exact a plan to ruin Lola‘s life in return. While none of the characters are all that likable, I appreciated the diversity of the cast, the Miami setting & the unexpected turns of the plot. It‘s a fast and fun read- perfect for the beach, the backyard or a plane ride!
