It's melting.
It's melting.
For those wondering, that's snow up to my knees all the way from my house to the bus stop. The street has not been plowed.
So it was in the upper 70s where I live, but I miss living in a place with the occasional snow day. Being forced to stay home from work with nothing else to do but read? I'll take it. (However, I don't miss the shoveling.) Enjoy your snow day Littens!
This is not turning out to be a good day. Woke up an hour late, snow storm, train was late, uni servers are down, my classroom doesn't have speakers, I lost my coin purse and I'm out of Diet Coke. Yap.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I had never read The Snow Queen. I am glad my first experience was this tome with Sanna Annukka's gorgeous illustrations.
Thanks, NetGalley for the ARC. This is definitely a book I want in my personal and classroom libraries.
Love the depiction of the Northern lights.
"Gerda knew every flower by heart, and, plentiful though they were, she always felt that there was one missing, but which one she did not quite know."
Can we talk about these illustrations? 😍
Looking forward to reading this beautifully illustrated ARC!
