Great Way to start the day…and a new book!

The description of this one as a "hipster cozy" made me roll my eyes, but I actually really liked it! There's a whole lot going on (maybe too much?), but I liked the characters and the setting. I'll definitely read other books in the series.

This was just okay to me. It is cute, but I feel like there were some things missing. But it‘s the start of a series so maybe they‘ll be discussed later. I probably won‘t continue the series. However, I do want some coffee now ☕️

A strong series starter about Sage - a young barista and food cart owner in Portland. Sage finds a body in front of her cart. Her past makes her a suspect. No animal companion sadly, but an intriguing mystery for sure. Lots of seeds planted to make this series grow.

I just realized the steam turns into the shape of a skull 😆 It‘s coming down to the last couple of weeks for the semester so I was wanting something light and fun. #cozymystery

In this first Ground Rules Mystery, we meet barista Sage Caplin. She has had a very interesting life which gives her a unique perspective regarding some of the people she meets over the course of this story.
