The description of this one as a "hipster cozy" made me roll my eyes, but I actually really liked it! There's a whole lot going on (maybe too much?), but I liked the characters and the setting. I'll definitely read other books in the series.

pickA strong series starter about Sage - a young barista and food cart owner in Portland. Sage finds a body in front of her cart. Her past makes her a suspect. No animal companion sadly, but an intriguing mystery for sure. Lots of seeds planted to make this series grow.
I just realized the steam turns into the shape of a skull 😆 It‘s coming down to the last couple of weeks for the semester so I was wanting something light and fun. #cozymystery
