I read all eight volumes in one sitting and wow. I loved the characters, they were so cute— especially Taichi! He was adorable! The fact that it was more of a coming of age series than a romance was beautiful. I loved and hated the fact that we don‘t get to see how the two characters got together in the end, but that wasn‘t the point. It was surprisingly thought provoking at times as well. I loved this series and would totally read again.

I am emotional this is one of the best coming of age stories I've encountered in a while, definitely worth it if you like a well developed romance manga where characters actually communicate with eachother

This is a melancholy slice of life that focuses on romance, but leaving at just romance is not doing Kaito justice. The final year of high school is normally a time of tumultuous emotions for everyone and “Blue Flag” reminds you of that in a beautiful way. #manga #bookjournal

I wasn‘t sure if this star-crossed quadrangle of high school romance would work for me but it does. I‘m already hooked on the characters, even though this first volume only hints at the queer content yet to come in subsequent issues of this rom-com series.
