22 #7 This book took forever to get through. A couple of reasons. First and foremost it wasn‘t an “I can‘t wait to get back to it” situation for me. Interesting enough to finish and I liked it fine. Secondly, I am binge watching “The Crown” and that IS an “I can‘t wait to get back to it” situation. 😂
I really enjoyed this book! So many engaging characters and enough history that it sets the stage but not so much you feel you‘re reading a textbook. WWII set in France 🇫🇷. Highly recommend! #100readschallenge

This is the story of Lila and Sandrine, two french women who join the resistance in WWII. I really enjoyed it . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really enjoyed this book about a group of French Resistantes and the work they did during WWII to protect Paris and the property of Jewish families. Great characters and plot, although it was a little long.
Historical fiction based on true accounts of how Parisiennes resisted the Nazi occupation in World war II. Beautifully written, vivid descriptions! The story of two strong women, two heroines that touched my heart and had me on the edge of my seat more than once. Multiple timelines and multiple heroines, an absolutely fascinating story that will command your attention and capture your heart ❤️
I feel in love with Lila & Sandrine! Two different women whose stories you follow from the beginning to the ending of the Nazi occupation in Paris. Both had completely different experiences & it was interesting to see how their paths in a way crossed. Both worked for the resistance and had to work with/for the enemy. This kept me on my toes at times & melted my heart at other times.
