minkyb I cannot sew and I have tried. I insisted both kids learn how. My mother gave me a sewing machine when I graduated from college (1977) I don't know why but my youngest is using it so I guess it's all good. So should be a required skill! 7y

It's so much cheaper just to buy your clothing, but freedom to express your interests and passions via clothes means that it's worth the time and effort to create something yourself!
