Poesy the Monster Slayer
Poesy the Monster Slayer | Cory Doctorow
1 post | 2 read
New York Times bestselling author Cory Doctorow and illustrator Matt Rockefeller present a sweetly scary picture book about a girl whose monster-catching activities delay her bedtime in Poesy the Monster Slayer. A monster slayer needs no bedtime! Once her parents are off to bed, Poesy excitedly awaits the monsters that creep into her room. With the knowledge shes gained from her trusty Monster Book and a few of her favorite toys, Poesy easily fends off a werewolf, a vampire, and much more. But not even Poesy's bubblegum perfume can defeat her sleep-deprived parents! At the Publisher's request, this title is being sold without Digital Rights Management Software (DRM) applied.

4 ⭐ This book was a little long, but it needed to be. This is for an older kid at bedtime. Posey loves the story of monsters read to her every night by her dad and she knows exactly how to take care of them. If only her parents could get her to stay in bed. But can pose defeat the zombies? This book was a lot of fun and the illustrations are fantastic.
