A Dirty Death
A Dirty Death: A West Country Mystery | Rebecca Tope
2 posts | 4 read | 1 to read
First Published in 1999: It seems at first like an accident when Lilah Beardon finds her father face down in the farm's slurry pit. When Lilah begins to suspect foul play no-one is eager to help her investigate. Suspicion becomes certainty when two more deaths occur. The difficulty lies in discovering who, among Guy's enemies, hated him enough to want him dead. --This text refers to the hardcover edition.

Guy Beardon is found dead in the slurry pit on his farm. It seems to be an accident (surely nobody would commit suicide like that) until a few days later one of the two brothers next door is murdered and the other badly injured while they were sleeping.

A good quick read.
