Pickpick

The first couple of times I read this book I choked up. Then at about the 14th read I was really proud of myself for keeping it together for the most part. Then I accidently looked at the kids. Their faces, their reactions triggered the tears and then they started crying. 😭 This book is really good. #WCCPBA 2022 nominee I think I love Jack.

Butterfinger Wonderful review!! 3y
mandarchy @Butterfinger there's always one nominee that makes me weepy and I usually hate them. This one is so good. The author has printable activities for the kids to do so it makes for an easy lesson. 3y

#12Booksof2020 Day 2

I read a number of great picture books this year. In this one, a partially blind horse and a grumpy goat become friends. It was sweet and I cried.

Andrew65 This looks lovely. 4y
Reggie Awww. One of my book challenges says to read a book with an animal protagonist that DOESN‘T die. Would that book fit the bill or is that why you cried? 4y
Bookzombie @Andrew65 It is! 🙂 4y
Bookzombie @Reggie No, I just cried over the sweetness. I‘m a crier. It‘s set at a rehabilitation farm and the animals are there for different reasons, but no one dies. 4y
