Documentary style novella about a house that seems to take people - they disappear into it. It was an interesting approach to the haunted house genre, and an interesting ending. Overall a good book.

Another fantastic novella from Kealan Patrick Burke. “Sour Candy” is still my favorite, but I really like the structure and writing in this one. Kind of like true crime meets cosmic horror.

Last night I finished The House On Abigail Lane by Kealan Patrick Burke. Other than hearing from friends that it was good I had no idea what to expect when I started reading this novella.

If you liked Stephen Kings Rose Red then you‘ll love this book. It takes more of a sci-fi/ cosmic route instead of just ghosts which I really enjoyed. I also liked that it was written like a non-fiction account of the history of the house.

Presented as a work of nonfiction, The House on Abigail Lane by Kealan Patrick Burke will definitely have you pausing any time you go up the stairs!
